Welcome Peter Lee as CEO of Rapidminer

I’m thrilled today to welcome Peter Lee as the new CEO of RapidMiner. When we invested in RapidMiner in February of this year, we enthusiastically backed founder Ingo Mierswa and his vision to bring powerful, predictive analytics to the business analyst. Under Ingo’s leadership, the RapidMiner team developed the leading next generation predictive analytics platform (placed in the Leaders Quadrant for Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics Platforms) with over 250,000 active users worldwide. With the addition of Peter, Ingo now has the partner he’s searched for to lead the next phase of the company’s growth, driving deep market adoption of the RapidMiner platform. Peter is an energetic leader who knows how to scale businesses. He brings a wealth of experience in the analytics space including running and rapidly growing the Analytics/Big Data, B2B, Cloud, CXM and SIEM product groups as an Executive VP at Tibco. He was also founder and CEO of DataSynapse which he led from concept to over $40M in revenue before selling the company to Tibco. Peter is taking the reins of a company that tripled its software subscriptions last year and we are excited to see him lead RapidMiner to even greater heights.
